Amruta Subhash Instagram – @filmfare awards stage has gifted me many precious moments. Many dreams of many actors have come true on this beautiful stage ..but let me be frank..when I was a child watching Shabana ji’s films, adoring her craft and her passion for her work, mesmerised by her dignity and her transformation in roles like ‘Mandi’ and many other films.. l hadn’t even dreamt that one day life would gift me an opportunity to present an award to her. You are full of gratitude when your dream comes true but then you are speechless when something you haven’t even dreamt of actually becomes true. It was a pleasant surprise for me when I was given this opportunity to express my love and gratitude for Shabana ji. Thank you @filmfare for these moments.Here is my speechless speech and I mean every word of it! ❤️And yes about this saree.. l wore it Gujarati style cause the ceremony was in Gujarat and this saree is gifted to me by a wonderful actress and my senior from NSD Ashwini Giri @ashwinig as an appreciation for my work.I am happy that I could wear it for this ceremony and I believe that the good luck of this saree and the blessings behind it have also added in this magical moment ❤️There was a muscle pull in my right shoulder so couldn’t drape the saree to my fullest satisfaction but everything is perfect when you are surrounded by love. लहान असताना जेव्हा शबानजींची अनेक कामं डोळ्यात प्राण आणून पाहिली, ज्याचं मंडी मधलं पात्र पाहून, त्यात त्यांनी घेतलेला बोलण्याचा लहेजा, त्या भूमिकेसाठी त्यांनी वाढवलेलं वजन, बदललेली देहबोली हे पाहून मी थक्क झाले होते त्यांना पुरस्कार देण्याची मोलाची संधी फिल्मफेअरनं मला दिली याबद्दल मी कृतज्ञ आहे. जी स्वप्नं आपण पहातो ती सत्यात उतरली की कोण आनंद होतो, पण ज्याची आपण स्वप्नातही कल्पना केली नव्हती ते जेव्हा असं सत्यात उतरतं तेव्हा शब्द मुके होऊन जातात. त्या शब्दातीत अनुभवाला शब्दात पकडण्याचा प्रयत्न मी त्या प्रसंगी जे बोलले त्यात केला.ह्या प्रसंगी मी नसलेली ही साडी माझी मैत्रीण आणि एक सच्ची कलाकार अश्विनी गिरीनं मला भेट दिली आहे. अश्विनी राष्ट्रीय नाट्य विद्यालयात ली माझी सिनिअर. तिनं माझ्या कामाचं कौतुक म्हणून दिलेली ही साडी या सुंदर प्रसंगी नेसता आली याचा आनंद वेगळाच! कार्यक्रम गुजरात मधे होता म्हणून खास गुजराती स्टाइल मधे❤️
