Angela Trimbur Instagram – The @angelatrimburdance Balletcore Recital was one of the best nights of our lives and was everything I dreamt it could be and more. I wanted it to feel like we’re in the classic ballet movies we all love. Everyone showed up and played their parts: the dancers being prima ballerinas (in our playful anti perfection don’t take yourself too seriously kind of way )…Miss Angela and her flawless French accent jk…and the wildly supportive fans. The families and chosen families (some flew in for it and surprised them!) and even people you may not have even guessed would show up for you but did…were all encouraged to celebrate their bold ballerina loudly, scream their names at any point and throw roses and give bouquets after each routine. Everyone there that night came CORRECT. It felt like a sports game truly. But extra sentimental.
All the dancers were people who had a complicated relationship with dance like felt they couldnt anymore or haven’t since they were 6 or felt they shouldn’t ever and they all worked their asses off and bonded deep. We went from people who knew maybe one other person kinda- to each others new RideOrDies tbh it’s true it seems.
