I know people who have chosen to be right, rather then heal from curable dis-ease. Rather than walk their child down the aisle, they stay heels-in, unwilling to make consistent changes to help their health. And I know people who, if they only truly examined the blockages in their heart, they would have a real, intimate, healthy, committed relationship.

But our tricky ego doesn’t want to change. It’s dead-set on being right, even when it is absolutely wrong.

I believe real inner strength is to dance with the ego and do what must be done to slay its grip of sabotage. And this burning of who one once was, to evolve and become who we are meant to be, is often wildly uncomfortable.

But when we make friends with this discomfort, instead of avoid it, transformation miraculously unfolds.
