Brooklyn Decker Instagram – I love love love furniture makers. I had been following @orior_furniture ever since they launched in the US a few years back, always drooling over their pieces, wanting to have one in my home. When they reached out to talk all things furniture I jumped at the chance. They make the kinds of things you’ll pass down to your grandkids – full of heavy patinated brass, pebbled leather, solid wood. We moved into our 1964 house right before the pandemic and over the last 4 years we have painstakingly collected furniture and lighting from some of our favorite makers. When we wrapped Grace and Frankie, I bought a chair as a wrap gift for myself. To say I’m obsessed with what people can craft with their hands is an understatement. Maybe it’s because I come from a long line of woodworkers, maybe it’s because handmade goods are becoming rarer and rarer.
