• layout | we started with an empty canvas on top of @thecapehotel’s rooftop. we went for a rectangular head table for us & family instead of a sweetheart table and then round tables on each side to border an open dance floor area, which saved $$ on an actual dance floor — woo!
• colors | neutrals baby… white, black, beige, wood, etc. 🤎
• decor & florals | we didn’t need much with the backdrop of cabo’s sea of cortez & famous arch landmark 😍. we re-used our ceremony floral arrangement, which broke into 5 separate pieces to scatter around the reception perfectly. we did lots of candles paired with bud vases instead of center pieces because well, flowers in cabo are crazy expensive because they have to be imported (iykyk) 😅 i loved how different it was from any wedding i have been to too and @blushnroses.cabo did such a gorgeous job.
• table settings // I definitely lost sleep trying to figure out the vision for our tables and if it would all match. well it was truly serendipitous how everything came together.. how did the taupe wax seals on the menus match perfectly with the beige candles without ever having seen them? the wedding fairies were definitely in my favor! we used @the.cabo.wedding.co for our wishbone chairs & white/gold silverware and @bazaarcabo for the stunning ivory charger plates & beige napkins. @thecapehotel provided the tables, tablecloths (thanks for ironing them LOL) as well as the glassware & plates. my table numbers were $25 from amazon! #ballinonabudget
• stationary | i used @mintedweddings for our save the dates, website, invitations & stationary. their selections are incredible & everything is customizable and user friendly. i just loved my experience with @minted so much 🤍 I typed out all the menus, cut & glued the name cards & placed each wax seal (also from minted marketplace). arts & crafts y’all!!!!!!
