I never had the chance to share this core memory I had with you in 2023. First of all, never in my wildest childhood dreams could I have ever imagined watching @alanis perform LIVE in the motherland, and you actually gifted me that chance! At the time, I was caught up raising my second child, 5 months post partum and preparing for Aielle’s birthday party the next day and out the blue you asked me to come with you like you knew I needed it. As a mother of two, mahirap maging spontaneous at nung araw na yun napa drop everything and go mo ako. We may not have grown up together but we definitely grew up in the same era and belting out all the songs we knew was a breather and it definitely brought us back to our youth – it also made us realize that we didn’t know all of Alanis’ songs and that @chiefalvinaguilar is actually the bigger fan. 😂 Anyway, di man tayo ganun katagal magkakilala (actually matagal na pala) at di rin kita madalas nakakasama, pero palagi ako andito masaya para sayo. Thank you for being an amazing person and a beautiful soul! You’re a great friend, great actress and a wonderful mother. They always say God is fair and that you can’t have it all but God wasn’t fair with you cause you have it all and you deserve all the goodness this 2024 is bringing you! I miss you, I love you and I’ll see you soon! ❤️
