Totally kidding. Just 30 minutes ago, Ivry was in my bathroom giving herself a full makeover, lol.
It’s important to have a balance of fun & education! Now that the kids are home for winter break, they are with me in the kitchen a lot more throughout the day, and it’s been the perfect time to whip out the “color the rainbow” coloring book for them!

This is going to be perfect for the colder days we are having because the kids are inside a lot more. The book also features a word search, grocery lists for the kids to rip out and bring with us to the store (they use those pages to play “kitchen”) and 10 pages of positive affirmations.
The primary purpose of this book is to mindfully showcase all of the benefits of eating
fruits and vegetables, but not forcing them into liking each one. We simply aim to highlight the benefits, or “super-powers” of certain fruits and vegetables, and then this book allows them to make a decision for themselves if they like that particular food. It may actually be a great way to understand which fruits veggies your kids do and don’t enjoy! Nourishing a healthy relationship to food is so important, and giving your kids the chance to voice their own opinion on different foods is a great first step!
