Celebrating the life and extraordinary career of our dear friend @asmalls777 Honored by @beardfoundation for his groundbreaking work as a chef. @alroker and I had many romantic evenings at his Cafe Beulah, which elevated soul food to a place of excellence and elegance. Last night he was feted by the young chefs he’s inspired, including @chefkwameonwuachi and @carlaphall who fed us too well. All of this just days before his birthday. What a gift for us all!
