Hayalleri, hikayeleri vardı. İnsanların sadece birer rakama dönüştürülmesine veya kategoriye indirgenmesine hep ama hep karşı çıkalım. Çok zor bir coğrafya yaşadığımız. Dayanışma önemli, kızkardeşlik önemli, birbirimizin sesine ve hikayesine sahip çıkalım. I’ve never forgotten the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria precisely one year ago, leaving more than 50 000 people dead, thousands more wounded and traumatised. The earthquake was so devastating it affected more than 15 million people across 11 provinces and multiple cities. On this grave, on a wooden placard, it says “a little girl who has no one” but that’s not true. It’s not true that she had no one. She was someone’s daughter, sister, neighbour, beloved. Human beings are not numbers. People cannot be reduced to cold and heartless categories. Each and every person of all backgrounds who died in the earthquake had an important story.
