Elissa Slotkin Instagram – Today, after @vetaffairsdems held a hearing on my bipartisan Justice for ALS Veterans Act, Jann & Kate Vasiloff stopped by my office. Jann’s husband & Kate’s father, George, inspired this bipartisan legislation, so they are the ‘founding family’ for the ALS veteran community.
This legislation is as straightforward as can be: it tweaks existing law to ensure the surviving families of veterans who have passed away due to ALS receive vital benefits.
