“Wealth as generated by industrial economies” sounds innocuous and progressive but it is shorthand for a way of life that is psychotic, that is exploitative, extractive, dominant, disconnected and essentially antithetical to happiness, satisfaction or contentment.
Honestly liberals will never not baffle me. They differ to conservatives in that they appear to perceive / admit that certain social issues exist, yet seem incapable of coming up with any valid solutions because they are incapable of connecting the dots to identify the actual cause of said social issues. Instead they come up with shit like “sustainable goals” (that will never be achieved) other meaningless time wasting and expensive excercises.
I’m bored and exhausted and I want to live a life where everybody’s basic needs are met, where everyone’s life is honoured and respected, where everyone has access to community and a support network, and is able to pursue a life of meaningful purpose.
