Gina Torres Instagram – 20 yrs ago, I had the privilege & honor to be featured on the cover of @blackenterprise magazine with the honorable @cidwilson to showcase an amazing & groundbreaking article written by #milcaesdallie The historic piece was the 1st time that the “Afro-Latina” platform was used in a major US media outlet… and eloquently detailed the ties and bonds between the African American and Latina Communities. 20 yrs later – I am proud to continue being a part of not only this Community, but the platform itself as well! As BHM 2024 is coming to a close, I wanted to pay homage to the past, look toward to continuing to elevate in the future… and celebrate the present.
