Hailey Kilgore Instagram – GRAMMY WEEKEND 2024 💜 I don’t even know where to begin….. My life has been forever changed. We will start there. I haven’t felt this grateful, fulfilled, joyous, changed for the better, on and on in a LONGGG TIME. My soul is happy and I have so many people to thank. My week started with finishing my first album which is just insane to say I was feeling excited//terrified//anxious// all of the above… Then I got to fly to LA to spend time with the people I ADORE. My people. My family 🥹. I got to sing at my first GRAMMY WomanEvolve event run by the absolutely incredible @kaishaadia and @adamblackstone @bassicblack THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING ME. Adam has championed me time and time again. Not only did I get to perform. I got to sing MY OWN song. Which was liberating AF for SOOOO many reasons! I then got to sit on a panel (ME. On a panel at Grammy weekend!) in a room and the get best education on this business by some of the most incredible beautiful smart and talented black women in the world. I was welcomed with open arms, excitement, and love by SOOOO MAAANNY (which does not land lightly on me). The little black girl in me felt like she belonged. Feeling wanted and like people care about and value what you have to say is. EVERYTHING. I will always carry that feeling and hopefully I can pull out that confidence when I need it in different spaces. Saying that this weekend changed my life is an understatement. 💜Thank you’s incoming.
