Each of us has the power to make a difference, and on the other side of our yes can be a life-changing story for someone who needs it the most. On this day, our beautiful friend @jen_lilley got to meet our miracle child, John Senkula. Five years ago, John had a life-threatening medical condition that required open heart surgery. His family was unable to afford the medical fees and began to believe that John was not going to survive. Through a series of events, Jen Lilley fully funded John’s surgery with the proceeds from her song “King of Hearts”. John and his family were overwhelmed to meet Jen. There were tears all around. An unforgettable moment, where two hearts were joined from across the world. We are so grateful for Jen’s compassion, John’s life is forever changed, and his heart is stronger than ever.
