Jennifer Garner Instagram – Every day, millions of families rely on a program called WIC – the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children – to ensure they and their children are getting the food needed to nourish their minds and bodies. This hugely successful program has made healthy foods, like fruits and vegetables, affordable for pregnant and post-partum moms and their kids, during a time when nutritious food is vitally important.

Funding for WIC is set to expire on Jan. 19 and Congress is currently debating how much money to put towards the program in the 2024 budget. For the first time, a program that has historically been met with bipartisan support is under threat of not being fully funded. This cannot happen. Everyone deserves access to good, nutritious food, so we’re calling on Congress to fully fund WIC.

You can join us in this effort and help make sure everyone who participates in WIC has access to the food they need. Read about why we’re advocating for WIC funding and how you can get involved at https://bit.ly/FortuneWICop-ed (link in bio). *This article originally appeared on Fortune.com
