Jules Wainstein Instagram – If you haven’t met my dearest and closest friend, Barbara Knight, then I know you may have heard me speak wonderful things about her over a billion times.
She is one of the most selfless, giving and loving humans I have ever met. (Besides so many more qualities) She IS THE PRIME example of what we are all here on Earth to be. To help people and spread LOVE.
Barbara has been battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia for 2 years now. Having already survived breast cancer, a true fighter, she vowed to take on AML with the same gusto. In 2021 she launched the Barbara Knight Foundation to help other AML patients. With only 19,000 people being diagnosed with this deadly and rare blood cancer she felt she could make a real impact to help other patients in need.
The Foundation has already started helping AML patients in just one year! It has given aid to patients for their medications, bills, even help for mothers at home during treatments as they battle this disease and more. Any relief of stress a patient would have will give more than hope to them, it gives energy!
I am so amazed by how strong and determined Barbara has been the last few years. She is the best example that even through the darkest times, helping people in need and being of service, is one of the richest experiences life has to offer. It is beyond amazing to see how the Foundation is already helping patients get through the toughest of times and I am so proud and honored to be on the committee.

at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.
