Julie Stewart-Binks Instagram – So sad to hear of the passing of Matthew Perry. It’s been a difficult thing to process – someone so beloved by the world, who I also used to know very well a long time ago. Something I never shared publicly. I hadn’t talked to him in years, but I read his book and was so happy to hear how at peace he was in life. He had finally mastered his demons. Which makes his death even more tragic. He said in his book that he knew he’d be remembered for “Friends,” but that he was more than that. What I’ll say is – he was incredibly kind, witty, adventurous, loved to tell stories, loved hockey, and loved Canada (ironically, my grandpa was his mom’s lawyer and remembered him as a baby in his office). I’ll never forget how fascinated he was that “Binks” was so similar to “Bing.” RIP @mattyperry4
