Katie Carpenter Instagram – 2023 recap. A little late to the game because I needed to nap instead. 😂
2023 was the year I got pregnant and gave birth. I’m now a mother; an adjective that still feels a little foreign to me. I’m learning how to be one everyday.
Looking back on this year – although pregnancy felt a little inconvenient and neverending sometimes, and there were other struggles – lack of work and losing of friends and a body that was forever changing, and a soul that was splitting apart and expanding to create another… we were so fortunate.
We were blessed with delicious food, the ability to travel, and friends and family to lean on.
Blessed to be surrounded by animals and the huge dog pack that’s always around.
Blessed by friends and family who showered us with love and gifts, and made us feel so special.
Blessed that I was able to grow my business, and all the projects I’ve poured my heart into.
Blessed to work on a few film sets with enthusiastic artists, as crew and cast.
And ultimately blessed for the expansion that becoming a parent requires. My body expanded to build a baby, and now I’m being pushed further to expand my world again.
I cannot wait to see the new version of me come to life. I can’t wait to see my daughter continue to grow and smile. It’s real love, baby. 🙏🏼❤️ | Posted on 02/Jan/2024 07:59:01
