I don’t think I’ve ever learned a lesson without first failing spectacularly. Whether I’ve tried to get better at a skill or be better as a person, for me failing has been a great source of guidance. There have been times I’ve laid on the ground for minutes before getting back up and times I’ve stayed down for months, and while unpleasant, those experiences are what have created meaning in the sweeter moments. So yes – I hope your year is filled with joy, laughter and success, but also a few spills. 🙃

After a red eye to NYC two weeks ago, @lexie_harp_, @mheineman and I headed out to Richard Smith’s #thepianoexchange on Long Island to shoot this music video. Matt had his iPhone to capture it in a single shot, Lexie had her harp, and thanks to the generosity of the Piano Exchange (and @Edshap1 and Mario of course!) we had our choice of piano. Having known Lexie for over 14 years, this was a pretty special collaboration. The song is out on all platforms and ready for your holiday playlist!
