UPDATE: Today this man was booked, and arrested. He was fingerprinted and did a mugshot for his 54th felony of the year. ⁣And he lied again – about his height, weight and hair… ⁣ 54.⁣ Felonies. ⁣ So far… ⁣ ➡️ I don’t want to EVER hear a conservative say they care about crime. ⁣ Or character.⁣ Or integrity. ⁣ NOTHING. ⁣ ⁣ Earlier this year both a judge and a jury said that Donald Trump sexually assaulted a woman. ⁣ ⁣ He’s been banned from ever operating a charity in New York.⁣ ⁣ Trump and two of his sons are being charged in New York State for hundreds of millions of dollars of fraud. ⁣ ⁣ Over 1,000 Trump supporters have been charged with crimes related to January 6th. Nearly 600 pled guilty – including of seditious conspiracy. ⁣ ⁣ 5 of his attorneys were just named as co-conspirators in his crimes.⁣ ⁣ His previous lead attorney already served hard time.⁣ ⁣ A dozen of his close associates either are in prison or out of prison for crimes they committed for him. ⁣ ⁣ Trump has been charged in New York with paying off a porn star he had an affair with right after his wife had their son. ⁣ ⁣ Trump’s first wife said in her autobiography that he brutally raped her in a rage after he had a plastic surgery gone bad. ⁣ ⁣ Don’t tell me you care about:⁣ ⁣ Family values.⁣ Honor.⁣ Integrity.⁣ Truth. ⁣ Decency. ⁣ Faith. ⁣ ⁣ If you support this man, you forfeited the right to pretend those things matter to you. ⁣ ⁣ ➡️Don’t even tell me you care about POLICE when this man’s supporters beat and battered and mauled and chased police ALL OVER THE CAPITOL. ⁣ ⁣ 🤯What’s wild, is that it’s clear this man is still going to win the Republican nomination. ⁣ ⁣ Republicans have choices. Even some that would give Biden trouble. Some with good records. And reasonably good character (compared to Trump). ⁣ ⁣ But nah, THIS IS YOUR KING. ⁣ ⁣ I’ll end with this thought. ⁣ ⁣ It’s VERY insightful to see conservative white America continue to back this man no matter what. It has, for me, completely pulled the rug out from under whiteness itself. ⁣ ⁣ We always knew they didn’t really care about the things they said they cared about. ⁣ ⁣Now it’s not even debatable. So I walked out of middle age into a new phase yesterday. Yup. I’m a senior. So how about some respect people! No seriously, it’s a heavy but exciting birthday. A milestone. There’s something to be said about a person’s time on this earth and the perspective that is only acquired by time. The wisdom and experience, the heartbreaks and wonder, all the laughs, the friendships, the adventures and the deepest loves… You just want more. And more. Well, in the meantime I’ve decided to frame it like this: I’m no longer the oldest of the young people, but I’m the youngest of the old people. Huzzah! Here’s to my next adventures and having more to share in the locker room. 😉🙌 Fun Fact: Barbie is 65 too & having her best year ever! 🩷
