Khyati Shree Instagram – Raj Ghat is a very underrated spot in Delhi. People usually flock to India gate and miss visiting this place, but Raj ghat is so beautifully maintained and its so peaceful and calm that I could soak in the spirit of this place sitting in its quiet and green gardens for hours. It is not as touristy compared to other spots in Delhi, and it is full of historic significance. Essentially it is the crematorium ground of some of the greatest leaders of India that is why it is located at the Yamuna bank. There are trees planted along the sidewalks by Nelson Mandela, Queen Elizabeth, Bill Clinton and many other dignitaries. There is also a museum and a haat dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi’s life; his philosophy and preachings are showcased throughout the complex.
