Kirsten Gillibrand Instagram – On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the six million Jews and millions of other victims killed during the Holocaust. We can never forget the horrors of the Holocaust, and we must never give up the fight to root out antisemitism, bigotry, and all forms of hate-fueled violence. International Holocaust Remembrance Day is especially painful this year after the horrors of October 7th, when 1,200 innocent people were killed and hundreds more were taken hostage — including Holocaust survivors. In the aftermath we’ve seen an alarming rise in antisemitism here and around the world. Now more than ever we have an obligation to speak out against antisemitism and stand up to protect our Jewish neighbors.
