Treat your animals as if they are a loved elderly person:
Keep indoors with cooling on
Don’t go for walks when the sun is up
Don’t travel, stay home
No car rides
Limit outside time to dawn and dusk
Keep hydrated
Keep calm and allow to rest
Regularly keep an eye on them and watch for signs of discomfort or heat exhaustion. Seek vet assistance immediately if you are concerned.
