Goodbye and thanks for everything, #WoganHouse! I’ve said too many sad goodbyes to people to be sentimental about places, but we worked out this morning that (along with my excellent colleagues) I’ve presented over 2500 shows behind the mic on @BBC6Music here at WoHo, so I thought our final broadcast here deserved a spot on the grid. My kids have grown up coming in to collect me and sneakily press the studio buttons, I’ve interviewed many of my heroes (a few villains too) and shared over 7 and a half thousand hours of music with our wonderful listeners. I’m so grateful to everyone who has tuned in over the years, our teams and the technical geniuses who have kept us on air all this time! Looking forward to our next chapter over the road at BBC NBH where we’ll finally be with more of our TV and radio colleagues.
EDIT: SORRY FOR FREAKING PEOPLE OUT, IT’S NOT A REVELATION, JUST A MOMENT OF EVOLUTION! WE’LL BE BACK IN THE MORNING IN OUR NEW HOME ACROSS THE ROAD!!!
