Laverne Cox Instagram – I had a job to do yesterday and I had an absolute blast hosting #LiveFromE. Television remains in her golden age. … But a day later as I reflect on yesterday, I could just cry. I’m starting to cry as I type this. You all know I love Mugler. Getting to wear @manfredthierrymugler’s ICONIC Les Echineides dress from his S/S 1989 Les Atlantes collection is truly a fashion dream realized. I still can believe I was on live television in this dress. I’m literally obsessed with this dress and collection and with Mugler. … I am told this is 1 of 3 possibly 4 of these dresses that were ever made and the only one in this color. The color in this lurex fabric reads completely differently depending on the lighting. In this glambot video it appears to be black leather. It definitely not black or leather. But it’s exciting how the dress is alive. I believe the photos I Pinned that @sequoiaemmanuelle shot reflect the color most accurately. … If you don’t know this collection I recommend going to watch the video of the full show on YouTube. #ThierryMugler ss 1989 #ThierryMuglerVintage #ThierryMuglerArchives #muglerette #muglerized
