That unexpected and devastating knock on the door was a shattering of lives which will never fully recover. I’m not sure you’re ever the same again after something like that if I’m honest.

Life can change forever, in a single second, in a way that you never would have imagined.

I write this post as a reminder (including to myself) to embrace life, to value health and those people whom you love. To never take family for granted (fix those rifts if you have them) and to try and find happiness however and wherever you can. As I say, we never know what tomorrow will bring…
