Ming-Na Wen Instagram – Like my twin?😂😂 Okay. Why do I have a LIFE-SIZE bronze statue of me as Fennec Shand? Well, my amazing husband started the process last April of having one made to celebrate my birthday. It was carved from clay from just a photo as reference. The artistry and accuracy is remarkable. Several revisions took place. (Thank you, @mitchelwuphotography & @jenchiwu for your input.🥰) This was all done in secrecy. Unfortunately, it didn’t arrive in time for my birthday last November. It just arrived last week. When we had a couples night with some of our dearest friends we’ve known for over 20 years, Eric unveiled it. What a tremendous surprise! We were all in awe! He knows how much #starwars means to me; how being Fennec has been a childhood’s dream come true for me. So he wanted to celebrate my birthday with something unique and BIG! He succeeded!! At first, I was utterly astounded and amused. I also thought he was crazy! Where the hell were we going to put it? She couldn’t be outside scaring people! Once we moved her inside, she actually fits great in our media room. She’s home! I love bronzed Fennec more and more, just like my love for this marvelous man. She’s a daily reminder of how lucky I am to have such a thoughtful and loving husband. He’s the best! Thank you, babe!
