Monica Malik Instagram – The Central Government has announced a scheme for inter-caste marriage, inspired by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision of social integration.
Under Dr. Savita Ben Ambedkar Inter-caste Marriage Scheme couples can receive financial support of up to Rs 10 lakhs from Rajasthan Govt. (Rs. 2.5 lakhs for other states), split into two parts. 50% of the sanctioned amount will be placed in fixed deposit for 8 years while the remaining 50% will be deposited into a joint account for the newlyweds.
