Nasim Pedrad Instagram – We met yesterday with Ambassador Stoeva, the president of the UN’s Economic and Social Council, to discuss the removal of the Islamic Republic of Iran from the Commission on the Status of Women. Here we delivered the letter from last Sunday’s NY Times centerfold, signed by prominent women leaders from all over the world, demanding that this action be taken at ECOSOC’s next vote. The relentless murdering machine that is this regime must be held accountable for its crimes against humanity. And they most certainly have no business taking a seat on the UN Women’s Commission.
