Natalia Fedner Instagram – Yes it’s really metal. No it’s not a print. We can make any pattern into a metal design. This is a custom piece for @argyleandvalentine @thekathyrose – she asked for the argyle pattern. It takes about 3 days of math before any tool or piece of chain is actually picked up. To make patterns, we have to use a combination of graph paper and computer pixel work – and then we make swatches. Finally we combine the pattern with the overall desired shape of the garment (more math!) to make sure the pattern lines up beautifully at the neck, hem, and side seams.
