Nicki Shields Instagram – The Trilogy! For the first time in their 111 year history Aston Martin launched three cars on one day. The AMR24 F1 challenger, the new Vantage and new Vantage GT3. All with more power, performance and agility = M I N D B L O W N Now onto the @fernando moment…. Let’s set the scene – My interview on stage with @lance_stroll and @fernandoalo_oficial was all going so well, a lovely little catch up about how their first drive in the new AMR24 had gone that morning. It was all very positive. Then, given the fact that Fernando is one of the F1 greats (agreed?), I had to ask him what is his secret to success? How does he stay so focused and hungry? And then, the awkward moment came… I kindly reminded him, that this year a lot of the F1 Academy drivers will be celebrating their 21st BIRTHDAY this season and so too will Fernando… of sorts. This year he will be celebrating his 21st SEASON in F1! Not sure he was best pleased about my reference to his maturity. And safe to say… I won’t be reminding him again! ;-) Now here’s something to think about… If you had to take one of these cars home. Which would it be? For me, I’d take the GT3! Who’s with me?
