Nur Fazura Instagram – ⚠️ In 1989, #EdwardSaid warned us about the racist, and orientalist perspectives of Thomas Friedman. ⛔️ Said believed Friedman felt “entitled, encouraged and authorized to advocate for extreme measures in the region”. ❌ Friedman’s perspectives are consistently proven wrong. His analyses are racist, reductive, and contradictory. 🤢 And It’s disgraceful, but not surprising that the New York Times continues to publish such garbage. ⛔️ Said wrote “Friedman belongs very clearly on one side, the side associated with classical anti-Arab and anti-Islamic Orientalism.
