Pollyanna McIntosh Instagram – Today’s #TWDTOWL crew shout out is a peach. This is @michaelsatrazemis Many of you already know and love his work from his directing of photography and directing on #TheWalkingDead and his directing on #FearTheWalkingDead and #TalesOfTheWalkingDead (both of which he also exec produced) He’s an immense talent with a whole heap of spirit, can-do and a gorgeous capacity for joy. He really cares about the work, the collaboration and he LOVES his cast and crew. He’s an egalitarian with little ego to boot. When Mikey first directed me on The Walking Dead I felt at home with him immediately. It was a tough episode, the one where Jadis has lost all her people to Simon’s murderous power play and she’s beginning to unravel as she sheds her clothes soaked in the blood of her community. Mikey held space for me to go there emotionally. He let me know he was right there with me without crowding or fussing or patronizing. He showed me his trust and he’ll always have mine. Our reunion on #TWDTOWL where Mikey directed again was so joyful. This pic is of one of the many times we came across each other as we walked the perimeter of the apartment building many of us were in. Mikey was super busy during his time on the show but we could never shut up once we got talking and we always left each other feeling uplifted. You can see my pupper Sammy loves Mikey too and he’s the best judge of character I know. Pollyanna McIntosh Instagram – Posting a crew or cast portrait a day ‘til The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live comes out on February 25th. This is Vince and me in the Makeup and Hair trailer, the first stop at the start of the shooting day for me so thank the gods for Vince’s good vibes. Vince is the Head of Department of Hair and was on The Walking Dead too. He is a King and loved by all. He puts together a great hair team too. Aside from his mad skills and fresh shirt collection; his experience, wisdom, kindness, calm and sense of humour are all so welcome. You can trust him to keep it real. Anyone who knows Vince knows his catch phrase, “You feel me?” Yes I do Vince. Yes. I. Do. Thank you! Oh!
