The humanitarian situation is catastrophic. There are not only food shortages, there are now hospital shortages. Disease is spreading and living conditions are unsanitary. Children are eating weeds in an attempt to stay alive.
Palestinians face a terrifying choice: stay in the city and wait for Israeli attacks or return north through bitter fighting and constant bombardment, knowing their homes have all been destroyed.
