Sara Coates Instagram – Grief is wild, horrible and beautiful. Something I didn’t expect was to see my Dad’s face in Goldie. They both have what Matt and I call “moon eyes” when they smile. They smile with their entire being. I hadn’t had my Dad smile back at me for too long. And now I get to experience that in Goldie and it’s magical.
He’s been gone for 12 years. It’s feels like forever and also seconds. Sending my deepest love to anyone juggling grief. Holding space for you today in honor of Pat Coates.
