Suranne Jones Instagram – ** Exciting news** New class added to accommodate waiting list and new students. After being at capacity for years, we will have places available for ALL ages from 7 yrs to adults. We will celebrate Actor Tribe’s 10TH BIRTHDAY in September and we are celebrating by opening a NEW CLASS. Husband and wife Lee Boardman and Jennifer James run ACTOR TRIBE in Knutsford. We provide training for both children and adults, creating a warm, inclusive environment for students to increase their confidence whilst discovering and honing their performance skills. We are an acting school based in Knutsford. We teach all ages each Saturday through term time, from 7yrs up to and including adults of all ages. Our aim is to provide a drama school training for our students, within a caring, supportive environment, whilst giving them opportunities and access to industry professionals. Our students have had numerous guest workshops from BAFTA winning actress Suranne Jones, (Gentleman Jack, Vigil) Actor, writer and comedian Peter Kay, (Car Share, Phoenix Nights), Sally Lindsay (Mount Pleasant, Madame Blanc), Marc Warren (Mad Dogs, Hustle) and EMMY winning director Steve Shill (The Sopranos, The Wire). Actor Tribe have links with many casting directors enabling students to audition and be seen for major UK and US projects, with many gaining professional acting work including leads in major BBC television series, CBBC TV series, nationwide TV ad campaigns, voiceover work and feature films. Two teenage students gained their first job through Actor Tribe and the film, The Silent Child went on to win an Oscar in 2018!
