Tazbah Chavez Instagram – 11/4 — Thank you @uclaaisc x @uclaftvarchive for bringing @sterlinharjo and I out to screen @rezdogsfx episodes. As a UCLA alum, it meant a lot to screen our work there. I used to stand at the top of Janss steps and wonder how I was going to make an impact on the world, like ucla makes you believe you can. I would have never dreamt it would be through telling Rez stories with my brother, Sterlin — who I once drank 40s with and read poems to near campus at a time we were both feeling like outsiders in a place like LA. This was one of many full circle moments I had during Native American Heritage Month.
