Toni Tones Instagram – I got nominated for an AMVCA guys!!! 🤗🥺
For my role as Goldie in Brotherhood. 🤍

This is my second nomination and it is a full circle moment for me!

Since I started my career, I dreamt of playing action roles but I wasn’t getting the opportunities.

I’m a firm believer in hard work, perseverance and faith.
So years ago, even as I prayed to God for these action roles, I decided to meet him half way and started prepping myself physically and mentally. I made a post about on how in 2019 (swipe to see post)

Writing that post was me telling God “I believe in you so much that I’m going to put it out there that I’ve asked you for this, I’m taking steps in faith and I know you will NOT fail ”.
I won’t lie sha, as years passed, there were times I wondered if it would ever happen or if I was just fooling myself.
But Boy, not only did God come through, he exceeded my expectations.
Not only is Brotherhood is the best action film out of Nollywood, He’s also given me an AMVCA nomination that I never even thought to pray for. A testament to his goodness and faithfulness.
My father who never fails, I thank you.

Thank you to the amazing cast and crew of Brotherhood, that worked tirelessly to make this film epic.

As an actor, I pour my heart and soul into every role I play and you always make me feel seen and appreciated.
