Ok… 21. Or maybe a few months into 22. (More likely the latter. My first year at Juilliard, which is why I was in NY.) I’d played Sheila in “HAIR!” earlier that year at @studiotheatre. We were nominated for a few #helenhayesawards including Best Regional Musical (we WON!) and I was nominated for Best Lead Actress in a Musical (I lost to the amazing @lizthelarsen❤️.) And my friend, our Jeanie, @nellmooney and I raided my cousin @mariposa327’s closet (she was rightfully pissed at me for it) for some hippie clothes, and we walked around Greenwich Village taking “tribe” pictures for our cast, still relishing in the memories of that magical production. This one was always a favorite that Nell took. Feels like a lifetime ago… But still at the front of my mind. 🎶 Let The Sun Shine! 🎶 🌞
Happy New Year everybody! 2023 was…well, y’all were there. It was gnarly. I’m not good at the whole reflective posts that seem to be required today. I never have been. But I’ll just say…through the challenges of the last few years, I remain grateful for all the love in my life. There’s so much good in the world, and if we keep looking toward the light, we can find our way out of the darkness that finds us. Here’s to a brighter 2024, y’all!! Let’s get it!!!

Missing pool days after such a cold, wet weekend in LA. As an east coaster, I understand the beauty of seasons. But then I moved to LA… and THIS IS NOT WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR!!! 😂
