If you’re new here, you may not know that I was a single mother for about 18 years. I knew the statistics were stacked against me so I chose to put my kids first, and give them the most expensive thing I had, which was my time. Trust me all this paid off.
Julio and I met during a pandemic. Yes, dates were outdoors with masks on. His profile on Bumble read: “I’ve been on a dramatic path to mindfulness and authenticity. Mine read: “I’m not for everyone.”
As restaurants were closed, we had a lot of picnics and time alone in nature to really talk about intimate things.
