Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Instagram – I was graced with the incredible good fortune to meet @pele. In my early twenties while working In Italy I worked at the VIP section of one the exclusive clubs. Pele was in Italy on a speaking tour and came through the club after. Being the only two Black men in the club we ran toward each other like long lost brothers. Though we did not speak each other’s language we sat together with our hands clasped for the entire night. Words did not need to be said for the incredible amount of pride and respect I had for this man. I closed off the VIP and was both happy and honored to serve this legend who had served the world with his talent, grace and humility for decades. Obrigado !
