Andrea Bocelli Instagram – It was early spring: at the Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence, we were celebrating the launch of a small revolution in hospital education. One year after the first stone was laid, we are happy to announce the inauguration of the ABF Maria Manetti Shrem Educational Center in Florence, scheduled for Thursday, March 21st.   Together with the arrival of spring, we will celebrate the opening of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation’s innovative center, which aims to promote the languages of art, music, and new technologies, dedicated to young people and hospitalized children.   Named after Maria Manetti Shrem, an ABF ambassador and one of the most important friends to our philanthropic organization, the center has been structured to be a welcoming space where people can meet and get to know one another, talk and relax, and take music, theater, writing, reading, art and science workshops and digital workshops, as well as enjoy the multi-sensory garden and the educational vegetable garden.
