Rumor has it my dad learned to play drums to Fats domino records. 2nd photo is my grandfather (bottom second from left) he got a job as a welder during ww2. That’s how my family ended up in California from Oklahoma during the war effort. I THINK that’s my grandmother in the middle second row. Not sure though. My cousin has grandma’s welders license. Pretty bad ass.. I don’t think my grandfather adapted to well in California.. they were called okies which was a slur back in those days.
