Detox Instagram – If you would have told BabyTox all those years ago that her favorite woman in the world, her #TrueMother (sorry @theonlymamatox!) @madonna would invite her up to guest judge the Vogue Ball during #TheCelebrationTour she would not have believed you. I was born a Madonna fan. My earliest memories are dancing with @realheatherblaise to her records and being glued to @mtv to see all the videos. She has been, and continues to be, the soundtrack to my life. My ups. My downs. My loves lost & unrequited. My joys. My sorrows. She has been the constant & the rock. I have had the privilege of meeting my idol several times now, and every time it is just as surreal as the first time it happened when I was able to buy a Polaroid at the #MadameXTour. This, however, has been like an out of body experience. So joyous. So fun. So natural. Having befriended so many of M’s dancers & hair/makeup teams throughout my years of attending shows, seeing all of their faces of excitement for me during this moment was exhilarating! You are all so amazing & I love you & can’t wait to scream my head off at my remaining shows for you all! Thank you to the entire team behind this incredible production. This show is for US. THE FANS. If you haven’t already, you MUST see it! Thanks for taking such great care of me & for the amazing video @geordonnicol! @bobthedragqueen…you already know…seeing you up there every night. KILLING IT!!! I am so so proud of you! All I wanted to do was grab you & hug you & sob! Finally, to Queen Mother, Madonna: from the utter depths of my soul, my fiber, my being. Thank you for literally EVERYTHING. You have changed the world and forever changed me. Thank you for allowing me to be myself. To find my own way in a life that is not necessarily designed for people like me. Thank you for teaching me to celebrate myself. And thank you for, for just a moment, letting me into your world.
