Drew Seeley Instagram – Young people are in the midst of an anxiety epidemic. They are ready to be the change we all want to see in the world, but they need our help to give them the tools and resources required to turn anxiety into action!
Mental Health is top-of-mind, pun intended, here at Legacy. Our student leadership experiences act as programmatic interventions for anxiety and depression. This year we launched our successful Mental Health campaign in partnership with our friends at BetterHelp and The Steve Fund. This campaign, supported by the huge hearts of Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans, The New York Jets Solomon Thomas, and the dynamic musician Alonzo, got FREE mental health resources into the hands of 2,800 low-income students including a year of free therapy for some. It encouraged young people to speak their minds, share their mental health journey, and reduce the stigma that mental health issues have on young people of color!
