Graham McTavish Instagram – The magnificent war memorial in Nice. Carved into the rock 100 years ago and added to after WW2 and successive conflicts involving French soldiers, sailors and airmen. I am always moved by such monuments. My own Great Uncles have their own sacrifices memorialised at Thiepval and the Menin Gate when they were killed in the line of duty on the Western Front in WW1.
