King Charles III of the United Kingdom Instagram – This World Poetry Day, The Queen’s Reading Room was thrilled to produce ‘Northern Ireland: Poets and Their Place’, a literary event in partnership with Arts Council of Northern Ireland, curated by Paul Muldoon. Her Majesty The Queen joined actors and authors at Hillsborough Castle to hear Northern Irish poetry, read by actors Frances Tomelty and Ian McElhinney and poets Paul Muldoon, Michael Longley, Sinéad Morrissey and Raquel McKee. The Queen’s Reading Room would like to extend our thanks to everybody who took part in today’s celebration of Northern Irish literature.
