I was born and raise in Gloucester – I’ve done a lot of shows there in my over decade long career in drag, and this by far was the most incredible one to date. 20/10.
As supportive and fun the years have been to us never did I expect a venue and crowd quite to this capacity. I’m very grateful that for these events, for the family that has and continues to show up in large numbers. However the turn out of this audience being so varied in age range, people I never expected to come out and support such queerness, and a whole new generation of queers existing in a small town… is genuinely a joy to see in 2024.
I have a hard time putting my feelings into words and just want to express how amazing this all is. Being a homecoming show, Im grateful for the love and support of familiar faces but even more so ecstatic with the total outpour of love for the other amazing entertainers in the show. So Thank you all for coming and supporting a night of queer art. A bombardment of thank you’s for every person involved in making this such a success and we’ll see you at the next one!!! <333
