Since I can remember, I’ve always looked up to Wayne Kramer. He tuned my first Fender Strat when I was 3 and told me to turn it up… LOUD. He was at my first ever protest in Madison, Wisconsin when I was 5. And he showed me how to rip down Fairfax Avenue in his Hellcat when I was 16. We bonded over muscle cars, and music, and staying grounded and humble in an industry that doesn’t always prioritize those traits. I’m going to miss the possibilities of spending more time with him as I settle into LA. My heart goes out to Margaret and Francis. Thanks for the inspiration, Brother Wayne. I’ll miss you.
