Nirmal Purja Instagram – Snowstorms couldn’t stop the team summitting #BroadPeak. 100% success rate – all 13 team members summited between 12pm – 1pm local time. All our team were strong and determined – they had made a good push to Camp 2 when the snow came in and the weather closed in. This is where the years of knowledge and experience on these peaks makes the difference! My years in the military and UKSF taught me to evaluate the situation and make decisions based on all the facts. You have to keep making decisions, keep making a plan. Then when the moment is right, you execute that plan. All our team summited Broad Peak between 12 noon – 1pm local time – a huge moment for the team. I am so proud of each and every one of you. You showed strength, tenacity and determination. Everyone is now safe and well back in the lower camps. I have now climbed Broad Peak without oxygen – only 2 more to go to do the #14Peaks without O2 – all while leading from the front and helping make others dreams their new possible.
